The following definitions explain key terms used in this policy. Definitions are illustrated with short scenarios so you can see how each term applies when you use EthicLnowTrack to log and prioritize ethical business decisions.
- Personal data means any information that identifies you personally, such as your name, contact information, and records of choices you make in the platform. Example case: when you save a decision profile that includes your name and donation preferences, those entries are personal data.
- Processing refers to any operation performed on personal data, such as collection, storage, analysis or deletion. Scenario: analyzing anonymized decision patterns to suggest priority adjustments is a form of processing that transforms raw inputs into recommendations.
- User means any person who interacts with EthicLnowTrack services, including visitors who review content and registered members who create decision logs. Case: a registered planner using a checklist to compare commitment impact is a user.
- Service refers to the tools, content and communications provided by EthicLnowTrack to support tracking of ethical business decisions and priorities. Example: the decision prioritization dashboard is part of the Service.
- Cookies are small data files stored on your device to enable site functionality, session management and analytics. Scenario: a cookie that preserves your language choice across visits helps the interface present case studies in a consistent language.
